Earth Day, DADA Style
We partnered with Senator Gaylord Nelson’s legacy to design an Earth Day poster built in the DADA style of the post–WWI era, honoring the energy of the movement he launched in 1970. The illustration mixes hand-drawn elements with modern newspaper cutouts and crisp vector graphics, creating a layered, collage-like effect that feels chaotic but intentional. The juxtaposition of old and new mirrors the tension between past environmental efforts and today’s climate realities. The result is a poster that pays tribute to Senator Nelson’s founding vision while using DADA’s disruptive energy to spark conversation and action around protecting the planet.
